Just downloaded this software - used to use another product for the task but recently upgraded to windows 7 - however, this seems to be a fine product, so far, does everything I wanted and more - another \"learning curve\" oh well

This works great! One tip: I had to go into the settings and uncheck the \"Turn Monitor On when mouse is moved\" box, otherwise the slightest movement of my mouse turned the monitor back on a again. This is not a problem, as you can easily turn on the monitor with ctrl-alt-del and then close the dialog box as described in the instructions.

Turn Off Monitor is a handy software since Windows 7 Power Option is no longer allowing monitor to turn off while running programs; Not to mention the benefit of energy saving and protecting monitor from burning out. For anyone who has to routinely run programs overnight, this software would be an ideal choice. Besides, it provides options and flexibilities to accommodate individual needs. I would say it is a tool for a simple function but with clever design.

I love the product. What I am missing is a way to keep the monitor turned off even if I touch the keyboard. I am a blind user and some times would like to turn the screen off just by making sure no one can see what I am doing. So if there is a way to implement a feature where you could turn the monitor off and then back on again by a hotkey instead of just touching the kieyboatrd, it would be wonderful.

it doesn't work with skype. However, I can lock the monitor and it will then turn the monitor off and leave it off.

Not Suitable for a Laptop + Mouse I've never got on with using a laptop touch pad so I always use a USB mouse. Nothing wrong with the product, it's not right for me.

It looks good but the function I need you must buy it to get no way to test without buying.And as this is expensive and the USB version is seperate and another cost. I will reevaluate and check into doing this with Ruby .I will see.But if it works it would be Ideal.save much Time.

A really nice piece of software. I have been having problems with the local network going down. This software is brilliant simple to install and easy to use. I would recoment it to anyone who has issues with website and network down times, because often it is having the evidance that mnakes people do things.

Could almost be great Adding down to the second monitoring would be great. Also I work at a server colocation. It would be great if there was a web interface so customers could login view alarms and disable them over the internet. These are the main features holding us back from purchasing the product.

Great program. I like this program so far. It allows me to turn off the screen on my laptop without having to wait for windows to turn it off.

Very good indeed! Does exactly what it says! Allows the user to switch off their monitor whenever they want with the use of a tiny system tray icon. Just click on the image and the screen is off! The anti-shake feature is also quite useful! Then just move the mouse again and the screen is on, just like with a normal screen saver! Good piece of software!
